I stayed one night at a Homewood in orlando, and thought I smelled cigarette smoke in the bathroom, but decided it was my imagination. Upon showering and getting ready yesterday, it was very apparent that someone had been smoking in there and as someone who HATES smoke, and with a new headache, decided to mention it--as i was checking out I simply said "someone has been smoking in room 321, its very apparent in the bathroom, you may want to check it out". I went to get my car and the front desk person said " we are sorry that happened and we have added 10000 points to your account for the inconvenience". I thought that was very nice!! I wasnt planning on going any further with it but just rebooked at that hotel because I was so impressed with their response.
PS: Super ignorant for anyone to smoke in a non smoking room.
