During the hourlong presentation, Steenland also revealed that Northwest has proposed that American Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways move their Twin Cities operations to the new Humphrey terminal. They are now housed in the main Lindbergh terminal at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Northwest wants the main terminal to be dedicated to members of the international SkyTeam alliance that Northwest will join in September. Under Northwest's plan, the main terminal would focus on serving international flights and the SkyTeam airlines of Northwest, Continental and Delta.
Okay, NW has really gone over their head now. Even if it is just talk. And I doubt that the Humphrey terminal can even handle all their flights as is. I can see moving Frontier and AirTran, but not AA, UA and US.
