I was checking in for today’s flight and saw Row 1 was free - myself and partner on desperate PNRs so moved us both to 1A and 1C but I had confirmed 1A whilst someone else confirmed 1C so now I’m stuck in 1A and I moved her to 1F which had a free seat next to it but silver line can’t move me.

In many cases, 1C will be happy to swop for 1F once general boarding has started and they have been hit by the hand luggage of those boarding. Just remember *hit happens sometimes and don't let it spoil your trip or relationship. Next time call for TCP and get seating sorted at the same time (I've assumed TCP is available to silver - otherwise go for Gold and enjoy relationship bliss)
