There has been updates in later meetings, but progress is being made. MTS already has some bids for the concept of operations. MTS is also looking into different types of TVM's and possibly have a full featured TVM and perhaps a less featured unit that only has certain options.
I'm surprised they didn't shut down the open payment possibility entirely.
In any case, it seems like there's a big impression among people that contactless cards are a permanent failure in the US. The networks have a fair bit of work to convince issuers and their customers otherwise.
