Sure it's being used and looked at. But most of us don't bother with this insurance. The only time I've dealt with it was when I accidentally selected it. I must admit that it's easier nowadays to have them reverse such mistakes. Still, it's annoying to have to do so.

As for what to do in yur particular case, Alianz sends a PDF file with your policy. I'd read that to see what to do. A phone call to Alianz couldn't hurt. I'm sure the remedy will involve a note from a doctor...
