Hey! Yep, just as I had expected. Info was sparse. They told us just to clear immigration and customs as usual and “rest” until 6am for the continuation to JFK. However, once I got my bags, there was no other info as to where we should re-check bags and wait for the flight. No signs or personnel to help at the re-check area. Contract workers just told us to wait in the departure/check-in area. KLM personnel were not helpful at all. Flight attendants and crew seemed to have transportation somewhere as they all flocked toward a black van. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated! Should I just buy a ticket to LA where family is then back to JFK? I tried calling CZ in China (US number is closed) and they were not helpful.
