I haven't seen it progress to this level, but I have a ticket I booked last week through Chase for tomorrow where it spit me out one Alaska reservation number, and then 30 minutes later sent me the confirmation email with a different reservation number with the original no longer valid. The new reservation number has continued to work with no issues though.
