I was on my flight to JFK but winter storm Grayson caused our flight to be diverted to ORD. It’s already 9:00pm here and my options are running low. I’m still stuck here in the tarmac. Does anyone have any advice as to what my options would be here? Do you think my DL PM status might help me get a hotel room? I doubt the weather will improve by tomorrow morning. I do have family in Los Angeles and had pre-merger NW fly me to LAX and back to my final destination when the weather improved (this was back in the late 2000s). Do you think we will be met by DL agents here in ORD? I doubt CZ has ground staff here unless they hire last minute contract workers.
