Hmm. It is true that early-checkin/late-checkout has been available for ages, at least for the six years I have guested there. It is independent of any special offer and is available with all bookings at all times, room or suite.

Now, the lux car rental is a different story. This is the first I have seen it offered ON THE PUBLIC WEBSITE, thereby delivering directly to online bookers extra value. I book suites only. Most often booked through a Virtuoso agent and even then, no lux rental was offered. So I am unconvinced by the assertion that the car deal has been available for 15 years via the website.

This bit is offensive:
"A consumer who wants to "beat" their TA at their own game so to speak isn't someone I'd seek out to work with." --ABG

My post (not to mention intent) had not the merest whiff of gaming TA efforts. It was a representation of my experience during my latest booking.

Perhaps oversensitivity led to a harsher response than was meant.
