I've been off FT for a long while, but just to clarify, The Pen Beverly Hills has been doing flexible checkin/out times and a luxury car for suite bookings for at least 15 years now.
It is 100% blend-able with Virtuoso/Pen Club and any luxury TA would be able to confirm this package
(I know this because my Canadian based clients at this hotel can't get the car because of insurance issues as they hold Canadian drivers permits)

Pen Beverly Hills is a strong supporter of TA community from the General Manager down
Is that true of all hotels? No, of course not. Just like every business some people don't love all aspects of their distribution model and would rather things be different.
A consumer who wants to "beat" their TA at their own game so to speak isn't someone I'd seek out to work with.
My business is about partnerships with both clients and suppliers.
Sometimes I find lower rates, packages for clients as I review rates multi times before they check in. Othertimes, clients drop me an email to let me know about a lower rate they found.
That's partnership!

BeHuman's comments have been repeated here multi-times yet the Virtuoso / FHR / Visa Infinite portfolio of hotels just keeps growing and growing year over year.
