I can't seem to get away from these fees myself. If anyone knows of a way - please contact me.

I can add that I have found that smaller rental agencies (not the major national brands) often have MUCH cheaper underage fees. For example, I recently rented a car in FLL @ Fox Rent-A-Car (same as Sunshine Rent-A-Car...just 2 names) with an underage charge of only $10/day.

For the 8 day rental...that saved me at least $80. Some rental companies even charge $25/day.
