At the time of booking, the confirmation e-mail read the same message as above, but it was one day in the future. No prepayment has been charged yet.
If you haven't been charged yet, you can probably cancel w/ no penalty but obviously do it w/in the cancel time frame. BlaiseBos mentions he's been able to do so many times.
