I'm flying into KIX. I land at 3:50 PM on a Saturday. It looks like the pocket wifi places I've looked at online all say that the pickup ends at 5 PM, and if you land within 2 hours of closing, they recommend you pickup the pocket wifi where you're staying. However, if you're staying at an AirBnB, to pick it up at a post office. So, it looks like I'll have to pick up on Sunday if that's even possible. Considering Japan-wireless.com right now because they look to be the cheapest by far (for a 2 week stay).

I've tried looking online, but it says that "some" locations may be open on Sunday. How do I check?

And how does the pickup work? Just go to the counter, show ID, and they look for a package with your name on it? I don't speak Japanese and I might have to go to a random branch in Osaka.

I guess my other question is, aren't there wifi rental counters in KIX that will take a walkup and are those open past 5 PM?
