Can anybody provide recent experience on this? I'm in a similar situation and considering canceling, but getting cold feet. The reservation currently reads the following (the deadline has always been rolling so that it's one day in the future):
Changes to your reservation are not permitted. Please note that you may cancel your reservation for no charge until January 4, 2018.
Please note that your prepayment for this special rate is non-refundable.
At the time of booking, the confirmation e-mail read the same message as above, but it was one day in the future. No prepayment has been charged yet.
