While the UA 762s are certainly showing their age, along with the 752s and 733s booked about the same time, I've never been afraid of or ashamed to be seen flying on a UA plane. Yes, I've had to brush the peanut remains off my First Class seat now and then on the short-hoppers, but the mid-con/transcon flights have always been clean.
