Oh yes, only twice in a plane though, mainly on trains when I have had the audacity to attempt to use the table when someone was doing their “important “ work which in my opinion they should be doing in their own office rather than taking up all of the table. Some of us don't have an office! We are working between flights because we are being paid by our employers to be on that aircraft. I must admit I haven't ever asked anyone near me to stop eating, I can't recall that happening to me either. Just as well really, not least being something of a multi-tasker, it's sometimes a sandwich in left hand, while typing with right hand. I do draw the line at slurping down a coffee hands free at the same time.
