Overbooked TG flight
My wife is booked on TG775 LAX-BKK Aug 11. ITN shows this flight sold out or over sold - all fare buckets are 0.

My wife has not status on TG nor *A. When I bought her ticket, I selected a seat for her - aisle forward. This was mainly because she will be 5 months pregnant by then and needs access to the toilets often.

My questions are:
  • will her seat assignment be maintained or taken away by TG?
  • what should her approach be to avoid being bumped (we are meeting in BKK hence she has to get this flight)? - other than getting to the airport very early
  • can she make anything of (ie sympathy) of the pregnancy thing to avoid being bumped?
  • I am surprised that this flight is sold out so ar in advance in all classes - is this normal? Is ITN maybe giving me bad info?
