A couple of points spring to mind here:
1. What will happen to all those seats that aren’t really that old at all once they’ve been pulled out in return for the new benches, surely they won’t all be kept as parts for a LGW fleet or CE.
2. And this is more of an anecdote, Germanwings used to operate the CRJ 900 on the NCL-DUS flights, I used it a couple of times but in the end had to stop because of the crippling pain it caused me in my lower back upper legs. Now admittedly I avoid BA ET these days like the plague and if I fly BA SH then I’ll fork out the extra for Club if there’s a decent fare. The Düsseldorf flights where never longer than an hour twenty, the thought of flying on a 4 hour flight down the back on BA theses days doesn’t even bare thinking about.
