29 October 2017 was the first day of the northern winter 2017/18 scheduling season, the dates of which still coincide with daylight saving changes across Europe (although other parts of the world don't necessarily observe the same dates). So there is a linkage there to daylight saving time.
The "old timetable" before Sydney went on to daylight saving time on 1 October 2017 was different in local time from the timetable thereafter, to reflect daylight saving time.
Also, scheduling is done in UTC. So as far as I can see from historical data, the schedules were:-
So the actual schedule only changed once; there appeared to be more changes only because of local daylight saving time change dates that were not aligned to the IATA scheduling seasons.
