Air France changed my codeshare flight?
Hello guys,
I'm flying Air France in J in a few weeks on CGK-SIN-CDG-EDI, and today I received an e-mail from them containing my itinerary. Everything looked intact, and there wasn't any particular remarks or updates contained within it, so I was surprised they (re)sent my e-ticket confirmation page. Then, I realised that they changed my codeshare flight on Garuda on the CGK-SIN sector to a later flight (presumably so that I have a shorter connection).
The details are as follows:
Previously :
CGK-SIN AF3934 (A330-300) depart 16:30, arrive 19:20, then connect to AF257 at 23:05 (3h35m total connection)
Changed to:
CGK-SIN AF3926 (B737-800) depart 18:30, arrive 21:05, then connect to AF257 at 23:05 (2h00m total connection)
Whilst I don't mind as much about the fact that they moved me to a 737 flight (as opposed to the previous long-haul A330 operated one), I had already planned to meet my sister landside at SIN during my previously long transit at SIN, and as one would agree, (planning) to meet someone landside in a two hour connection does not seem like the wisest idea.
Is there any possible way to revert the change without charge considering that this is not voluntary?
Many Thanks!
