Flying on the delayed VS12 in Prem Eco and as a FC Gold I am using the Club House in Boston. On arrival at the lounge we were informed that due to delayed paperwork they have not got a license to serve alcohol. Now I know it’s just been NYE and we are meant to be better behaved in Jan but I mean to say…. No fizz, wine or beer. Nothing! We were told we could visit the lounge next door (which IIRC is not that great). I am not sure who delayed the paper (aka the license) but I think it’s pretty poor show. I am going to fire off a letter to VS on return home but has this happened before anywhere? I am not sure how long they do not have a license but be warned! Also they have a temporary food option as the new menus are not starting for a few weeks. Bit of a mess!
