As long as there's a day separating the stays you'll be fine. Example, check out Tueday & check back in on Thursday would be 2 stays. Check out Tues & check back in Wed would be 1 stay.

Sharon: In your second example of checking out Tuesday and checking back in Wednesday, the guest would not be staying there Tuesday night, so those would be two stays, with a night (Tuesday) separating them, wouldn't they?
