Hmmm, I can't imagine EK allowing QF to run a sale on their metal, when EK themselves are still selling flights at the normal price. Surely their sales promotions would run in tandem on flights with shared codes?
Airlines do not coordinate pricing just because they have codeshare agreements!
QF targets different markets than EK so their sales do not need to coincide.
