I know most everywhere you cant do a name change on a booking, but maybe there is some creative ways around this I am missing. I have 2 awards booked on the QR Q-Suite using JAL mileage bank. There is a possibility a friend can't go, but we have already made the booking with my JAL miles. I know I can cancel and rebook but my only concern is then the award space won't be open anymore. By cancelling the award booking, if there is no award space available, does one open up? I appreciate any advice!
