Both seats kind of stink, IMO. VS seats barely recline. Yuck for a day flight I want to relax on. I hate staring into the cabin and not being able to look out the window without contorting ones' self. They're also narrow in the shoulders/elbows in seat mode. BA really isn't much better though. At least your feet don't get bumped by people walking by. Heaven forbid you're traveling solo and get stuck in a "honeymoon" seat though. Happened to me (my AA flight was 2+ hrs delayed and I was able to switch to a BA flight and that's all that was left.) Sooo close to some random guy. No thanks. Neither seats really have anywhere to store things either. Even reading materials can be tricky.
There are so many better products out there, though I guess for UK-based travelers that want to maintain loyalty for FF benefits, they're kind of stuck.
