Champagne & White Wines

Champagne Drappier, Carte D'or Brut
The Drappier family has been crafting Champagne for more than 200 years and the Carte d'Or truly reflects their style and vision. Being composed of mainly Pinot Noir (75%) and blended with 15% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. This is a rich and vinous style that offers a bold nose of red berries, plum and ston fruit. On the palate it's a rich and lively texture with generous fruit, a creamy mouthfeel and hints of crushed red berries and citrus, bold and generous on the finish with a good length. The Carte d'Or is thanks to its fruitiness, suitable, for aperitif, with most starters, fish and lighter meat dishes.

Laboure - Roi Macon Villages Chardonnay 2015
A fine example of Macon, located in the southern part of Burgundy where the Chardonnay always achieve a good level of ripeness and offers exuberant and rewarding wines. This prime example from 2015 offers a pure and intense nose of yellow fruit, citrus and roasted nuts with a gentle hint of vanilla from the oak ageing. The palate is rounded and offers plenty of fruit, yet it is distinctly dry in a traditional Burgundian style giving a nice sensation of firmness and bite on the finish. A very versatile wine to pair with starters, fish and seafood dishes as well as chicken and lighter meat.

Nobilo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016
The house of Nobilo has been producing wines since 1943, which is a long time in the young history of New Zealand. Marlborough is truly the emblematic region for Sauvignon Blanc and this wine is a good example of the style with its rich and intense nose displaying pure aromas of passion fruit, fresh pineapple, cut grass and citrus. The palate gives a very fresh impression with a distinct acidity but its nicely backed up by the tropical fruit flavours leading to a crisp and fruity finish. A generous style of Kiwi Sauvignon to pair with salads, vegetables, lighter fish and seafood.

Red Wines

Terrazas Reserva Malbec 2014
The Terrazas Reserva Malbec comes from vineyards situated at more than 1000 metres of altitude. This contributes to flavour, freshness and the balance that distinguishes this wine. It's clearly Malbec on the nose with its floral notes of violet and dark fruit such as blackberry, plum and cherry with some hints of roasted oak. The palate is full and pleasingly plump with a rich mouthfeel and soft texture with some spicy hints of aniseed and liquorice. Long and warm finish with opulent dark fruit and roasted notes, this wine calls for grilled dishes of dark meat and stews.

Wente Southern Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, 2015
The Wente family has more than 100 years of wine making experience in California. They have been instrumental in developing quality production in the Livermore Valley. This Cabernet Sauvignon blended with a tiny dollop of Petite Syrah and Petit Verdot is a prime example of this moderate climate that offers both fruit intensity and freshness. The nose displays a perfume of dark fruit such as cassis, cherry and blackberry with some spicy notes of aniseed and sage. The palate is distinctly full bodied and nicely polished with well distributed tannin, very discreet notes of oak and layers of dark fruit leading to a long, warm and caressing finish. A rewarding wine suitable for Korean meat dishes and western style stews and grilled meat. (Only available for Korea departure flights)

Columbia Crest Grand Estates Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Columbia Crest is early trailblazer in the heart of Washington State's wine regions. The Grand Estates Cabernet Sauvignon owes its bombastic, in-your-face opulence to the warm growing season in 2015. It shows pure black fruit characters, overlaid by warm spicy tones from the oak barrel aging, all wrapped around a classic structure with pronounced tannins. It is a wine for charred meat and rich sauces, within a classically structured, elegant body. Drink with anything from roasted chicken to bloody steak. (Only available for Korea arrival flights)

Dessert Wines

Taylor's 20 Years Old Tawny Port
The house of Taylor truly belongs to the elite of the Port wine producers and particularly their range of Tawny Ports are always used as a reference. This 20 year old Tawny has reached a perfect pedigree with astounding mature and complex aromas emerging such as dried fruit, dates and figs with caramel, spices and tobacco. The palate has an intense sweetness but thanks to the age, it appears a bit more mellow and sophisticated with a warming sensation and very long nutty finish. Ideal for your cheese plate or desserts based on eggs, nuts or chocolate.

Sawmill Creek Vidal Ice Wine 2015
In order to produce this deliciously sweet icewine, Vidal Blanc grapes are harvested while still frozen and then pressed to extract their highly concentrated essence. This Sawmill Creek Vidal Icewine has intense aromas of apricots and peaches with a perfect balance of crispness and clean acidity. Luscious tones of honey fruit and almonds close into a long, lingering finish that is silky smooth on the palate.
