What are our options at that time of night with approximate expected cost to get from the airport to near Mustek A Metro station (Wenceslas Square)?
How safe would it be to catch Bus 119, then Metro A at that time of night? This appears to be the cheapest option.
Is there a teller machine (Visa/MasterCard) at the airport to withdraw some local money?
If we were to catch the bus, then I would think we would need coins to put in a ticket vending machine at the airport? I would think that a teller machine would issue only notes. Where at that time of night would we be able to change some notes into coins?
Since this is nearly a year later than the quoted post, it is mainly for the benefit of others coming across this thread.
The ticket machines at the airport accept banknotes (up to 1000 korun) as well as bank cards for payment, so there is no need for coins. But some ticket machines in the city are still coin-only. Some of the ATMs at the airport issue 500 korun notes.
