Marriott's building binge in Canada continues. The first Marriott-branded property in the East Toronto suburbs is opening "Fall 2004". The building is framed and insulated, and the signs are up. It's immediately adjacent to the big parking lot we call the "401" (freeway) with easy access, and several restaurants are within walking distance. This is really good news for those of us east of the city when needing accommodation for out-of-town guests.
