Think it's time for a new hobby! The trouble is that all the supermarkets local to me cater to workers (so don't sell household basics) and charge 20% more.
Canary Wharf Waitrose is nice (as is the John Lewis bit), but involves a tube change for me and it's not in zone 1 - the shame!
On the other hand, that shopping mall is always amusing as it seems everyone walking around who is either black or working class has an ID badge on! I have visions of a bigoted security guard employed by Canary Wharf trying to restrict entry...
I may well have to pop down to the motor show tomorrow and try Waitrose out again. Perhaps I'll write my first trip report! Generally though, Glocester Rd Waitrose is right above the tube station, is zone 1, and i don't need to change tube lines.
I think I'll just continue to use (the incredibly incompetent) Sainsbury's home delivery service - even though they often miss out several things you've ordered and not substitute out of stock items with alternatives, they're still better than Tesco and Ocado (who charge every customer 5 quid for the congestion charge, despite the fact they only pay it once a day, and never on a weekend. Free delivery my arse!)
