Well, of course you're right, Dave Noble. I certainly wouldn't pay that sort of money for a couple of air tickets.

Ignore my "glass half full" mentality, and just tell me why paying £500 each to fly 8,000 miles e/w in Business Class is a bad deal, especially when the associated Avios and 2-4-1 voucher come 'free' with our normal spend on grocery, flights, hotels etc. I'm sure you have a strong view on the subject.
