Don't you think DL can afford a $15 meal for me at least $1K+ fare on many of these? Often times, on quick turns, I am in meetings or with clients literally all day, and I may just get a chance to eat a few snacks. Plus, not eating heavy stuff during the day helps keep me light and agile, and out of the restroom for too long, again while with clients etc.

But, I do like to get some protein and such in the evenings so I can recharge. It would be nice if Delta could do this so I don't have to bother with getting food on the way - can just go right to my flight, eat something quickly that's not laden with carbs, fat, or sodium and pre-packaged, and get some rest before rinsing and repeating the next day.

If my purchased F fares over 1,500 miles continue to not have fresh food available, as the website promises, I will continue to call them out on it - either they should update their catering to match their commitment online, or update the website to match the sub-par meal timing system they have in place now.
