Don't take this the wrong way but are you insane ? Based on the feedback I had last year in December and the current weather and forecast I would recommend you fly someone that isn't NYC.
Somewhere with cheap hotels / available hotels and travel insurance OMW :etc... D

And yes, I don't think you'll clear $900 AQD for that, I'd check, but the 10:10 is all out of Y seats. I'd find something that I could eUp. Maybe pop down to a warm US state etc... for the weekend and get a headstart on next years AQM/AQD.
Actually I'd get OMW for the return regardless of where you fly right now. Unless you don't have to be back at work and have excellent insurance in which case have a good trip
