This is true most of the time. Interestingly, I have a GPU waitlisted right now on an itinerary with LH segments. UA shows the standard "Upgrade Requested" notation, whereas LH shows "Business R, Status: Wait list." So same data, different front end display.

I have had one or two times where "R Class Requested" didn't clear when UA opened R and I had to call to have it fixed. But most of the time it's not been a problem.
