Thanks, that was very useful ^.

The sequence of events so far...
  1. Redemption booking made a few months ago with preferred timings LON-PMI-LON.
  2. BA cancel outbound LON-PMI, and rebook to day after original.
  3. We call up to instead request day before original, which they agree to.

What that seems to have resulted in is:
  1. Original ticket, with BA's proposed new outbound and original, unchanged inbound PMI-LON;
  2. New ticket, with the requested LON-PMI outbound.

The 125- number of the original ticket can be seen on CMT, but not the trip details - however they can seen on the above Amadeus site ^. CMT does show the correct two-segment journey, as if the outbound segment that can be seen on Amadeus is (correctly) no longer to be flown. Presumably the risk here is that when we no-show for the outbound on the original ticket the inbound will be auto cancelled. So I now have to decide whether to get more BA fingers into this pie and see what results, or just cross my fingers that it'll get sorted out sometime .

Would it make sense to talk this over with a ticketing agent @ LHR, maybe in the lounge? Or will they just queue it for ticketing in the same way as if I call a by phone ?
