Just got done with a stay there. I apologize, I was unable to get any photos of the rooms as I mentioned earlier.
Hilton's ears must have been burning from my post in the "Never Upgraded" thread. We used the "message hotel" function in the app to request a larger room due to traveling with the entire family. The clerk messaged back with an upgrade to a suite which was greatly appreciated.
Valet parking is $48, but the service has greatly improved. We used the text function to request our vehicle and each time, it was pulled up before we made it to the curb. This was a huge improvement over previous experiences.
The $30 Diamond credit is only good for F&B. If you don't spend money on F&B, you don't get the credit.
The rooms are beautiful and the sleep quality is great. The lack of a refrigerator in the room is underwhelming, but you do get 2 free bottles of W-A water. The shower had 4 shower heads and mosaic tile floors and walls. As mentioned above, the hotel feels timeless and elegant. Some may call it "old", but in no way is it "dated".
