The other thing to keep in mind here is that there is a $50 fee for no show for the 1-night bookings, and the reservation is not refundable. As the booking doesn't involve a credit card, it is also questionable if any cc travel insurance will cover it.
They will probably use your CC info from your flight booking to to take the $50 no show fee if they have to.
