I don’t see the goalposts moving - 4MM lifetime EQM on UA metal is pretty tough - heck I am not even 1MM yet and I’ve been flying UA/CO for 30+ years. FT kind of distorts the sampling. If anything AA was lot easier when they counted all miles including CC spend.
Sounds good to me . . . . I would assume that there will be less diminution of benefits at the 1K and GS levels. Once I hit 1K I'll see how I feel but might go for GS then. Thanks!

I was also concerned that United would change their program, before I could make the 3 million mile threshold. But I decided, why not? I tried to take a positive and prospective (future) attitude, looking at the potetntial benefits. I was perpared in case the worse case scenario happen. And to mitigate my risk, I turned some of the MR into mini vacations, and enjoyed spending time at some of the destinations.
I agree. I would likely MR to SIN, HKG, BKK, KUL, and maybe a few others, all of which I love, and would spend 1-3 days at each.
