What actually gets to me is the fact that the US has been so slow to adopt PIN and chip tech the way we have in Canada. Even when I do get to use PIN in the US, I'm still asked to sign the receipt. And don't get me started on restaurants where the server still takes my card and disappears somewhere to swipe it for processing, where as I'm used to the server bringing the wireless card terminal to the table now.
Thanks for reading! In Toronto, cash only was at the noodle restaurant in Chinatown and at the bakery inside the St Lawerence Market. The rest of the cash only places were in Quebec and Montreal.
