No spend on it this year.
They offered to waive the $89 annual fee and also offered 5000 bonus miles if I spend $1k in 3 months. 6000 AA miles (1k in spend plus 5000 bonus) for 1k isnt too bad - I have right around 144k AA miles, hard to use, but 150k is a nice round number for some long haul flights so likely will take advantage and put my $1,000 of non category bonus spend from other cards onto this card.
