That's what I thought everyone, thanks for confirming my suspicions . I did pay for baggage on Eurowings, and I have a long connection in LHR that'll give me plenty of time to recheck everything. Was just hoping to reduce the hassle.

I do have to say, I hate hate hate these "*A lite" carriers like Eurowings and Thai Smile that don't actually extend any *A benefits. Thankfully I have an extra one time pass to use at the UA lounge in LHR.
