Thank you for all of the feedback. I have cancelled my Pen reservation and booked at the Ritz. The Ritz is offering a terrific summer promotion with a F&B credit or upgrade to club level. We'll go with the club level since we like having a convenient breakfast option, being able to snack all day and enjoying our cocktails before the dinner hour. I really was looking forward to the Pen but there will many other chances for us, I'm sure. I just didn't like the idea of staying there during renovations. Thanks again for all the help!
