I kind of like the shoe bag version. AA had similar when I started travelling with them and they were great in the pre-flat bed days so as to keep your shoes together under the seat in front of you and not lose one as you accidently kicked it in your fitful attempt at sleep!!

I still use the AA one and my BA stash on travels as shoe bags. I even have a variety of the Molton Brown ones I use regularly. I have one of the little zip pouch bags that I call my hypochondriacs bag as I have it in my daily used back pack. It contains paracetamol, ibuprofen, antihistamine, dental picks, antacids, eye drops, lippy, chewing gum , listerine strips and a small assortment of plasters. The small size of the bag is perfect for a sheet of each type of tablet. AA hard and QF soft washbags of the past form my cable carrying kit.
