Given the Congressperson's past meltdowns on CO and now UA, odds on are that the UA bounced the award-redeeming pax to avoid a meltdown by said Congressperson. In all likelihood, the Congressperson raised such a todo at the gate prior to boarding that when the pax deboarded and saw SJL in her previously allocated seat, all the pieces fell into place.
