The "what?" was in response to Peninsula not being luxury. Yes there's the whole thing with the lobby. But that's a luxurious hotel.

I don't like the Ritz-Carlton at all, many on here do, I'll happily admit the club lounge is fantastic. The W, I don't like Ws in general, but in a city like Hong Kong a W can work, and it does here.
