Yes, all rooms are tiny. This was a Crowne Plaza. To somehow rationalise room rates (driven by the very good location of the hotel), at some point they succeeded in rebranding this as an InterContinental. While it is a decent hotel, with its merits, rooms are small, cheap design/furniture, and no ambassador recognition at all during my stay.
To this date I also remain surprised that in the room I was allocated, there is an emergency exit light, which stays illuminated all night.

Let that not ruin your experience, but just make use of this info to respond promptly to the hotel if they would fall short. Hotel is in at a great location. Enjoy.
