I watched this last night and... it wasn't the worst move I've seen...

The first 10 minutes or so, along with later scattered scenes, appear to be at the Sky Museum, maintenance hangers, and JAL offices at HND. Interior scenes of the 77W and 788 in places as well. The plot itself was pretty weak and most of the New York scenes are skippable.

Not to spoil things too much (it came out almost four years ago!), but the murderer is discovered thanks to the CAs' knowledge of code shares, inflight services, and the seemingly psychic mind reading ability that CAs have.

I give it 2.5 tsurumarus out of 5, with one of those for the decent amount of JAL present in the movie.
