I received that email as well, the final confirmation of what I’d read here about the iPad app being end-of-lifed. A shame, because I really liked it, especially the dynamic graphical overlay of your upcoming trips.

At least the iPhone app no longer pulls the BP QR codes under the menu buttons rendering it unusable while updating. For me the update would happen when approaching the boarding door. I had to step aside on more than one occasion.
