So sorry for the delay in responding. I started a new job right after my "around the world trip" and am just now catching my breath.
We ended up doing the following St. Regis locations:

We stayed in the St R Moscow and was pretty underwhelmed. No welcome note, upgrade, bottle of wine, etc at check in. The staff were not exactly friendly (possibly a cultural difference?). The location was good. If the price was right, I would stay there again, but definitely not my fave StR.

Then we stayed at the StR Bali. WOW. We were upgraded to a private villa with a pool. The staff were amazing. They surprised us with a rose petal bath. The brought us anniversary cake and food. The property was excellent. We loved the spa.
We then moved to Amandari in Ubud, and we preferred the StR. Dari did not live up to our expectations. AmanJiwo, at Borobudur was amazing! We followed your advice and did the bike ride and it was one of the best days of our lives. If we ever elect to renew our vows, we will do it at AmanJiwo. Just amazing.

Lastly, we stayed at StR Singapore. It was fine, but nothing special. They gave us a fruit plate and a note. I would stay here again if the price was right, but wouldn't pay a premium for this one.

I will try to post a report from the StR Langkawi (which we just stayed out last week). Short story, staff were great, facilities were lacking, and my wife had a slip and fall that we are not thrilled with the way they handled it.
