First of all, kudos to CX for arranging a ton of big planes to go to Manila and Cebu, and making the tickets available to the helpers.
We aren't very nice to them. Giving them their Christmas back is the least we should do.
But I wonder where the seats came from?
I suspect Singapore had equipment change (the passenger below was very sore). I believe Taipei was also swapped too.
But the fact that slack exists at this late stage of holiday bookings means CX isn't filling seats up seats for certain routes as much as it wants to?
