AI is Air India. Only if your codeshare is AA (flight marketed by AA) would it earn. The only way I can think of when it might not earn AA miles would be if it had been an award flight sold for money or a consolidator fare not mentioned in the table here. If your TA sold you an ineligible consolidator fare (see below for all eligible fare classes), then you’d be due nothing.

Economy AA marketed flights earning AA EQM include Y, H, K, M, L, V, G, S, N, Q, O and B. Business include J, D, I and R. First F, A. P Premium. Annotated as “Buy an eligible published fare ticket in an eligible booking code.”
